Partners

Currently, Institute for Development and Community Health – LIGHT is having strategic partnership with international development partners including Oxfam in Vietnam, UN Women, and CARE International in Vietnam, by implementing diverse projects on improving access to social protection for informal migrant workers. Main activities are community mobilization of migrant workers for awareness raising, direct services delivery such as for reproductive health care services and referral services, capacity building for stakeholders, evidence-based policy advocacy for institutional change.
In addition, Institute for Development and Community Health – LIGHT implemented projects on other issues, including support for community – based socio-economic  integration of young female sex workers, improving livelihoods for school drop outs who are children of migrant workers, pilot drop n center models for migrants, prevention of human trafficking, pilot migration cooperatives, providing technical assistance  developing sexual and reproductive health care for adolescents, International development partners were PLAN International in Vietnam, MTV Exit, International Organization of Migrant IOM, the International Labor Organization ILO, UNFPA, the Asia Foundation…
Besides international development partners, Institute for Development and Community Health – LIGHT has developed key partnership with other Government agencies, including Ministry of Health, Committee on Education, Culture, Youth, Adolescents and Children, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Women’s Union…and Vietnamese non-governmental organizations, including Center for Studies and Applied Sciences in Gender, Family, Women and Adolescents (CSAGA), Centre for Social Initiatives Promotion (CSIP), REACH, Center for Development and Integration (CDI) …
